Job summary

NORR Architects Engineers Planners is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Detroit to manage AP processing, expense reports, and vendor payments across our multi-country operations. You will code invoices, review approvals, and maintain vendor records while coordinating with Project Managers.

The role requires 5–10 years AP experience, solid Excel skills, and familiarity with accounting software such as VantagePoint.

Qualifications

• Completed post-secondary education in accounting (college diploma).
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting guidelines.
• 5-10 years of AP experience.
• Experience with Excel and accounting systems (VantagePoint) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Monitors AP inbox, codes and posts invoices to GL and cost centers.
• Ensures consultant invoices are correctly coded and approved by PMs.
• Processes payroll-related expense claims with receipts.
• Generates bank reconciliations for CDN and USD.
