Winston Taylor LLP is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and expense reports. The role is fully remote but must reside within commutable distance to the firm's Illinois office.

Responsibilities include reviewing invoices, processing checks, handling reimbursements, and providing customer service to vendors and staff. The targeted salary range is $52,000 to $64,000, with comprehensive benefits and merit opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of accounting or finance experience.
• Remote role but must reside within commutable distance to the applicable firm's office.

Responsibilities

• Review invoice and reimbursement requests to ensure proper coding and compliance with firm policies.
• Review prepared checks before mailing; verify accurate address and mailing procedures.
• Manual check entry for requests that cannot be processed through standard processes.
• Communicate issues/discrepancies identified during the payment process to the preparer/requestor or appropriate individual and follow up until resolved.
• Provide excellent customer service by replying to vendor/employee inquiries regarding the payment process.
• Provide support and assistance to co-workers and work with team to resolve identified issues.
