Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage vendor invoices, employee expenses, and payments from a remote US location. You will ensure accurate coding, documentation, and approvals while supporting project accounting and vendor relations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Deltek Vantagepoint or Deltek Vision experience and a background in project-based engineering, construction, or professional services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or Deltek Vision accounting software is required.
• Experience in a project-based engineering/construction environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and employee expenses in Deltek.
• Match invoices to POs and contracts and verify GL codes.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, check, wire).
• Maintain vendor records and support 1099 reporting and audits.
