Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Oak Ridge, TN for a remote-friendly contract position. You will process PO and non-PO invoices, investigate discrepancies, and handle urgent check requests while maintaining accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors, support leadership on special projects, and rely on your detail orientation, organization, and strong communication skills to ensure timely, accurate payments.

Qualificações

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience in accounts payable, invoicing, or a similar financial support function.
• Familiarity with SOX, DCAA, and FAR compliance policies.

Responsabilidades

• Audit and process PO and non-PO invoices using a paperless workflow system.
• Proactively research and resolve invoice discrepancies, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Manage special handling check requests submitted by employees, ensuring urgency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve invoice processing workflows and manage escalations.
• Support Accounts Payable leadership with ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.
