Qualifications

• Five+ years of accounting experience required.
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with accounting software and system integrations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in policy projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge and insights in accounting practices.
• Lead integration of accounting software solutions to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with legal, public policy, business, and operations teams.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting processes and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software implementation issues.
• Provide training and support on new software applications.
• Partner with IT for audit logging and system monitoring.
• Guide stakeholders through complex public policy implementation.
• Manage project direction from initiative to measurable metrics.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations.
