Job summary

Brightcore Energy in Armonk, NY seeks a motivated Accounting Manager with 3–5 years of accounting and payroll experience to join our team.

You will review month-end close, prepare financial statements, manage certified payroll for public works, and collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines in a hybrid, remote-friendly environment.

We offer a salary range of $110,000–$125,000 with a performance-based bonus and opportunities to grow within a collaborative ClimateTech company.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting/payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll, tax laws, and financial statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with TriNet, Sage Intacct and Procore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review month-end accounting, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements; review partnership tax returns.
• Identify internal control improvements and ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee weekly payroll and certified payroll for public works projects.
• Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll cost reports.
