Job summary

Brightcore Energy in Armonk, NY is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team. You will oversee payroll processing for field employees, manage certified payroll for public works, and ensure accurate fringe tracking and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting/payroll experience, strong knowledge of payroll laws, and familiarity with TriNet, Sage Intacct and Procore.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting/payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and financial statements.
• Experience with TriNet, Sage Intacct and Procore preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple team relationships and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review month-end accounting, reconciliation and adjusting journal entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with professional standards.
• Oversee weekly payroll for field employees and ensure compliance.
• Manage certified payroll for public works projects and WH-347 reporting.
• Interface with project managers and subcontractors to gather timecards and payroll documents.
• Maintain certified payroll records for audit readiness and internal compliance reviews.
