Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the end-to-end month-end close, maintain the general ledger, and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements. This fully remote role supports a fast-paced startup environment and requires independent work across time zones.

The candidate will drive improvements to the close process, support external audits, and ensure accurate reconciliations and documentation for all accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience with a clear focus on G/L and month-end close.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting system.
• Strong command of Google Sheets and Excel.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation: $110K - $150K/yr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
