Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager for a remote-first role within the United States, with an optional office in Richmond, VA. You will own the full monthly close, ASC 606 revenue recognition, treasury, AP/AR, and reporting, partnering with Operations, Product, Customer Success and leadership.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting/finance, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with SaaS or marketplace models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting or finance experience with hands-on core financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC606 and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience managing monthly close processes and meeting reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete monthly close process, including calendar, journal entries, reconciliations, reviews and sign-off across subscription and marketplace revenue.
• Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscriptions, marketplace spending, gifting, and revenue-sharing.
• Maintain deferred revenue and liability roll-forwards with a clear, well-supported balance sheet.
• Prepare internal and external monthly reporting, variance analysis and executive dashboards.
• Support annual audit and tax activities with external accountants and advisors.
• Oversee treasury and cash operations, including forecasting, banking relationships, and ACH/wire payments.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, billing accuracy, collections, and vendor payments.
• Coordinate payroll activities with People Operations and the organization’s PEO.
• Review accounting activities to ensure high standards of accuracy and control.
• Serve as primary internal finance resource for contracts, vendors, funding schedules, and budgets.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, speed, and scalability.
