Job summary

Grand Canyon Conservancy is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations including general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role partners with the CFO, Controller, and finance staff to ensure accuracy and integrity of GCC's records.

The position is remote, full-time and exempt, with episodic on-site visits to the Grand Canyon about four times per year; temporary housing and travel are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• 5–7 years in progressively responsible accounting roles.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and ensure timely month-end close.
• Oversee general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Collaborate with CFO, Controller, and departments on financial matters.
