Job summary

Grand Canyon Conservancy is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee GAAP-based accounting operations, general ledger management, reconciliations, and monthly close. You will partner with the CFO, Controller, and finance staff to ensure accurate financial records and reporting, with ERP systems including NetSuite.

This remote, full-time role reports to the Controller and requires proactive process improvements, strong Excel skills, and nonprofit/retail accounting exposure.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience including month-end close
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain chart of accounts and ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting
• Review transactions and ensure proper GL coding and documentation
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for revenue, deposits, and related activity
• Oversee month-end close process and ensure all reconciliations and entries are recorded
