Unrivaled Sports seeks an Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting for its Field Sports and Action Sports divisions. You will own month-end close, consolidate results, and supervise a small accounting team across multiple locations.

You will oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606, lease accounting under ASC 842, and high-volume, seasonally-driven financial activities. This is a largely remote role with an optional Baltimore office presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, incl. 2+ years supervising staff.
• Experience owning month-end close and multi-entity reporting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge including revenue, leases, and fixed assets.

Responsabilités

• Own month-end close and financial reporting for Field Sports and Action Sports divisions.
• Supervise two Senior Accountants and drive a culture of ownership.
• Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 for registrations, fees, tuition, lodging, and deposits.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and roll-forwards prepared by staff.
• Oversee fixed assets, capital projects, and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Manage intercompany activity and reporting for joint ventures.
• Lead audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Design internal controls and scalable accounting processes across multiple entities.
