R&D Partners is seeking an Accounting Manager to support intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and SAP-driven process stabilization for a biotechnology client. The role focuses on executing recurring processes, ensuring accurate close, and testing solutions, with independent ownership of deliverables under leadership guidance.

The position is a 6-month contract, fully remote in the United States, and requires strong intercompany knowledge and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred but not required.
• 5–8 years of accounting or finance experience, including intercompany accounting and month-end close.
• Transfer pricing accounting and execution experience preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred; SAP PaPM experience preferred but not required.
• Strong Excel, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to execute assigned responsibilities independently with limited training while collaborating across teams.

Responsabilités

• Execute intercompany processes: billing, journal entries, AR/AP matching, reconciliations, and settlement.
• Support monthly and quarterly close; investigate out-of-balance items and coordinate timely resolution.
• Maintain reconciliations, documentation, and controls with regional finance functions.
• Execute cost allocations, intercompany charges, royalties, and periodic true-ups.
• Support SAP PaPM processing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution with SAP teams.
• Transition integration activities into stable recurring operations.
• Deliver timely intercompany information for global close and align with consolidation.
• Simplify processes, strengthen controls, and maintain SOPs.
• Support workflow testing, issue resolution, and operational readiness.
