Job summary

Planet Pharma in California seeks an experienced Accounting Manager contractor to lead intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and SAP PaPM support. You will ensure accurate month-end close, robust reconciliations, and effective business integration during a six-month engagement.

The role requires strong intercompany knowledge, SAP expertise, and cross-functional collaboration with Tax, Treasury, and regional accounting teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Five to eight years of accounting or finance experience including intercompany accounting.
Experience with intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close preferred.
SAP S/4HANA and SAP PaPM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end intercompany processes: billing, journal entries, AR/AP matching, reconciliations, settlement, balance clearing.
Support monthly and quarterly close; investigate out-of-balance items and coordinate resolution.
Maintain reconciliations, documentation, and controls across regional teams (Accounting, AP, Tax, Treasury).
Execute cost allocations, intercompany service charges, royalties, and true-ups; validate against methodologies.
Support SAP PaPM processing, validation, reconciliation, and reporting; resolve issues with technical teams.
Assist with centralization, process stabilization, and transition of activities into stable operations.
Support integration of acquired entities into intercompany processes and SAP-based workflows.
Provide timely intercompany and transfer pricing information for global close.
