Job summary

BioMarin is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager contractor to support intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and SAP processes. The role requires strong intercompany accounting knowledge, SAP experience, and cross-functional collaboration.

You'll own operational deliverables, assist with month-end close, and help stabilize processes during a six-month term with potential extension based on workload. Collaboration across regional Finance teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required).
• Five to eight years of relevant accounting or finance experience, incl. intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Transfer pricing accounting and execution experience preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA and SAP PaPM experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end intercompany processes: billing, journal entries, AR/AP matching, reconciliations, settlement, and balance clearing.
• Support monthly/quarterly close; investigate out-of-balance items, root causes, and coordinate timely resolution.
• Maintain reconciliations, documentation, and controls; partner with regional Accounting, AP, Tax, and Treasury.
• Execute cost allocations, intercompany service charges, royalties, and periodic true-ups; validate results.
