Partner Company is seeking an Accounting Manager - Client Lead for a fully remote position based in the United States. You will lead a portfolio of fast-growing startup clients, acting as a trusted financial partner to CEOs and executive teams with hands-on accounting leadership and strategic guidance.

You will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls, while mentoring staff and coordinating audits, due diligence, and technical accounting research.

Qualifications

• Approximately 8+ years of client-facing accounting experience.
• At least 2 years leading an accounting team.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required.
• CPA or MBA highly preferred.
• Strong experience with general ledger platforms and finance tech.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for a portfolio of clients, guiding accounting strategy.
• Coach and mentor staff accountants to ensure quality financial reporting.
• Oversee month-end close, financial statements, and daily transactions.
• Establish strong financial controls and scalable processes for startups.
• Lead audits, due diligence, and technical accounting research.
• Deliver timely financial reporting for executives and clients.
• Analyze metrics and communicate insights clearly to clients.
• Collaborate with internal finance and tax teams to meet client needs.
