Destination Pet LLC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team remotely. You will own monthly reconciliations, ASC 842 lease accounting for 180+ leases, and treasury processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Reporting to the Controller, you will develop SOPs, maintain lease and fixed asset records in Occupier and NetSuite, and support audit and tax activities while driving process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 7-10 years accounting experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in ASC 842 and ASC 606.
• CPA preferred or pursuing CPA.
• Experience with lease software Occupier.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations for accounts including cash, inventory, fixed assets, and leases.
• Ensure ASC 842 lease accounting for 180+ leases.
• Maintain lease records in Occupier and collaborate with real estate managers.
• Review monthly rent payments and establish controls.
• Create SOPs and flowcharts for lease, treasury, and cash accounting processes.
• Oversee fixed assets, intangible assets, and work-in-progress; complete monthly entries and reporting.
• Assist with audit preparation and tax filings.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and analytic reviews.
