Job summary

LaunchCode is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own Accounts Payable and payroll processing, and to contribute to monthly close and funder reporting. You will manage the AP cycle end-to-end in Bill.com and QuickBooks, run biweekly UKG payroll, and maintain restricted-funding tracking to ensure grant and donor dollars stay within restrictions.

This full-time, fully remote role is ideally located in the Greater St. Louis, MO area and reports to the Director of Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with AP and payroll ownership.
• Experience with high-volume AP processing and full-cycle, multi-state payroll.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and UKG payroll platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the full Accounts Payable cycle in Bill.com and QuickBooks, including vendor invoices, contractor/SOW payments, and AP aging review.
• Run biweekly payroll in UKG, including payroll splits and cost center maintenance.
• Administer 401(k) force-outs, quarter-end payroll close, W-2 corrections, garnishments, and bonus payouts.
