Qualifications

• Well-rounded technical accounting expertise with full cycle focus.
• Experience with nonprofit grants, ASC 958/606 revenue recognition, and payroll interdependencies.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls within a transitioning finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Accounting System Management: netSuite transactions and control environment assessment.
• Internal Audit: review documents, GL schedules, and support internal controls development.
• Quality Assurance: identify control gaps and propose improvements with corrective actions.
• Policies and GAAP: enforce accounting methods and nonprofit reporting in line with GAAP/IRS guidance.
• Revenue Recognition & Grant Management: oversee nonprofit grants and earned revenue recognition; track fund restrictions.
