Brian & Associates is seeking an experienced Accounting Director to support the financial performance of startup clients in the consumer product sector. You will partner with client leadership to inform financial planning and business strategy, while ensuring core accounting functions are developed and executed.

You will oversee day-to-day, month-end, and year-end accounting, prepare monthly and annual financial reports, manage capitalization tables, and implement GAAP best practices across

Formación

• 7+ years of accounting and finance experience; 3+ years of audit.
• Degree in Finance or Accounting; CMA/CPA preferred.
• Experience with inventory accounting and consumer products.
• Consulting/business partner experience with senior leadership.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and implementing policies.

Responsabilidades

• Support financial planning and business strategy with insightful analysis.
• Oversee day-to-day, month-end, and year-end accounting functions.
• Prepare and present financial reports for client leadership.
• Maintain capitalization tables and equity plan transactions.
• Model GAAP best practices across accounting processes.
• Coordinate with external partners on audits, tax, and due diligence.
• Guide clients in selecting and integrating enterprise systems.
• Mentor junior colleagues and address client challenges.
