Centerline Communications LLC is seeking a Director of Accounting in the United States for strategic leadership of accounting operations, financial reporting, and team development. This role ensures timely, accurate GAAP-compliant financial information while maintaining robust policies and scalable systems to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license (or ability to obtain within one year of hire) & 7+ years leadership accounting experience.
• Thorough, practical knowledge of U.S. GAAP with ability to apply to complex financial reporting.
• Proficiency with modern accounting systems and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Hands-on experience implementing/managing ERP systems such as Sage, NetSuite, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions and financial reporting for accurate, timely statements.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financials for GAAP compliance.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures for financial management and efficiency.
• Lead and develop the accounting team through evaluations and training.
• Foster a high-performing department with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate year-end closes and audits.
• Ensure regulatory reporting timelines and requirements are met.
