Responsibilities

• Lead complex accounting advisory engagements, providing technical guidance on US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Advise clients on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), business combinations (ASC 805), and financial instruments.
• Support clients through IPO readiness, public company reporting, mergers and acquisitions, debt offerings, and other significant corporate transactions.
• Provide guidance on technical accounting research, accounting policy development, financial statement presentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the preparation of technical accounting memoranda, position papers, and supporting documentation.
• Advise on the accounting implications of complex transactions, new accounting standards, and changes in financial reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with CFOs, Controllers, finance leaders, and executive stakeholders, providing technical accounting guidance across complex transactions, financial reporting matters, and business transformation initiatives. The role will also play a key part in business development, practice growth, and mentoring the next generation of accounting advisory professionals.
