Job summary

Crowe seeks an Y-Hire Accounting Consultant to develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements for clients. This role is primarily remote with less than 10% travel.

Responsibilities include monthly accounting services for clients, reviewing invoices, reconciling bank accounts, recording transactions to the GL, payroll support, full-cycle close, and preparing financial statements and reports.

Responsibilities

• Monthly recurring accounting services for clients
• Review vendor invoices for appropriate accounting recording
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Record bank account and credit card transactions to the general ledger
• Assist with payroll management through ADP, Gusto, or other payroll provider
• Perform account reconciliations for significant balance sheet accounts
• Complete full-cycle accounting activities including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
• Prepare month-end financial reports including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow
• Prepare payroll entries and monthly accruals
• Special projects such as records cleanup, budgets and forecasts
• Accounts payable processing
• Accounts receivable processing
• Preparing schedules for auditors and tax CPAs
• Limited networking and relationship management
