SAIC is seeking an Accounting Associate to join the Billing Department. This role supports contract billing, including project setup validation, invoice preparation, and compliance with customer billing requirements.

The position works with Program Teams and Finance Shared Services to ensure timely, accurate invoicing and funding documentation. The role may be performed remotely from anywhere within the United States, with schedule flexibility and occasional overtime to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (or 4+ years experience in lieu of degree).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documentation and billing requirements for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, analyze, and submit customer invoices for various contract types.
• Maintain project billing records and support billing processes with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with training and process improvements in the billing department.
