Job summary

Aprio, LLP is seeking an Accounting Associate to support government contracting clients within their Aerospace, Defense, and Government team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting and 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably working with government contractors.

You will assist with accounts payable and receivable, job costing, and payroll processing. This position offers a competitive salary range of $32.07 - $41.25 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits from day one of employment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry experience preferred).
• Exposure to government contractors required.
• Foundational understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable processing, from invoice entry through check runs.
• Support accounts receivable, including customer invoicing and payment tracking.
• Record daily cash activity and deposits.
