Job summary

CAI is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end client billing with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and contract compliance. The role is remote as a contract engagement and direct employment with CAI.

Required are a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 3–5+ years in accounting, with ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and strong Excel skills. GAAP expertise and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Experience in insurance, billing operations, or accounting environments.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end client billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform billing reconciliation and funding settlements, resolving discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Monitor accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-up.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.
• Assist in developing and implementing new processes and workflows for a growing function.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data integrity across finance and operations.
• Assist with audit support and provide documentation as needed.
