Job summary

Remote DXB is seeking an entry-level accounting professional to assist with daily financial transactions and document control in a remote setup. You will enter invoices, expenses, and payments, supporting AP/AR activities and ensuring accurate ledger entries.

The role requires basic accounting knowledge, strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, and the ability to work independently from a remote location while communicating clearly with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a similar role
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience using accounting or financial management systems
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
• English proficiency for communication with clients, vendors, or teams

Responsibilities

• Assist with recording and processing daily financial transactions
• Enter invoices, expenses, and payments into financial systems
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Support audits by gathering and organizing financial documentation
