Job summary

True North Advisors is seeking an Accountant to support financial operations. You will maintain accounting records, assist with monthly closing, manage accounts payable, and support client billing and budget reporting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting and at least two years of accounting experience, with QuickBooks or Addepar billing experience preferred. The role offers telecommuting options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• At least two years of accounting experience required.
• At least one year of QuickBooks or Addepar client billing experience required.
• Experience with advisory fee billing and client invoicing strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel for reconciliations and data analysis.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and record transactions accurately.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and close support.
• Process client billing per fee schedules and agreements.
• Handle accounts payable and payment processing.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports for management.
• Support forecasting and variance analysis.
