Job summary

AccountingDepartment.com is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead complex accrual-based tasks across multiple clients. You will own month-end close, analyze variances, and provide financial insight while coordinating with internal teams and client stakeholders in a fully remote environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years full charge bookkeeping and 2+ years using QuickBooks and/or NetSuite.
• Experience with client transitions out of Implementation and stabilization.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience managing client engagements within defined budgets and scope.
• Experience coordinating transactional work and month-end close.
• Self-directed, highly motivated and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned clients within approved budget and scope on an accrual basis.
• Lead client meetings and provide high level customer service and financial insight.
• Own month-end close and financial reporting, including variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare cash management flash reports and support audits.
• Collaborate with Accountants and Associates and manage workload.
