Job summary

Pavago is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support financial operations by maintaining accurate records, managing day-to-day activities and preparing reliable reports. You will work with the Finance team on budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and audit readiness.

The ideal candidate takes ownership, communicates proactively, and can work independently while collaborating with stakeholders across the business. North American hours overlap is required for this remote role.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in accounting or finance with full-cycle accounting.
• Hands-on with reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and reconcile accounts regularly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
• Support budgeting and financial planning, tracking expenses against budgets, and variances.
• Assist with tax compliance and audit readiness and maintain organized documentation.
