Job summary

Custom Flavors is seeking a field-based Account Manager to grow customer relationships across Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming. You’ll be the main commercial contact for the region, coordinating with our R&D and Applications teams in San Clemente to bring products to market.

This remote position requires strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills, with travel up to 40% and the ability to work independently from a home office. Salt Lake City area is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in flavor ingredients or related food/beverage industry.
• Willing to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer accounts within the territory.
• Develop and grow revenue within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with R&D, the Applications Lab, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service to deliver flavor solutions.
• Maintain CRM records and track key metrics (pipeline, forecasts).
• Represent Custom Flavors at trade shows and customer sites.
