Job summary

Custom Flavors is seeking an Account Manager to grow client relationships across Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming. You will be the main commercial contact, collaborating with R&D and Applications teams to bring flavor solutions to market from San Clemente.

This remote field-based role reports to the President and requires up to 40% travel. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of B2B sales in food ingredients, strong negotiation and CRM skills, and the ability to manage a diverse

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
3+ years of B2B sales experience in specialty food ingredients, flavors, or related food/beverage ingredient industry.
Ability to travel up to 40% for customer meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers within the territory and maintain strong relationships.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements to hit revenue and margin targets.
Develop new business with existing customers and identify new project opportunities.
Coordinate with R&D, Applications Lab, Regulatory, QA, and Customer Service to deliver flavor solutions.
