Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager – Commercial Lines to oversee a designated book and support new business. This role requires active P&C licensing and delivers coordination of day-to-day administrative tasks and responsive client service.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in account management (or 5+ in insurance), strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• “Active P&C license” is required.
• CIC or equivalent professional designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Maintain technical competence and industry knowledge for effective service.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals and prepare submissions.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the team.
• Drive service excellence and continuous improvement.
