Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new business.

You will coordinate daily admin and customer service, resolve complex issues, and ensure data accuracy across policy, billing, and renewal processes. This role supports IOA - Charleston with a hybrid on-site expectation for certain locations within policy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Maintain policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Renewals: monitor expirations, prepare submissions, and negotiate coverages.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with data accuracy.
