Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new opportunities. You will coordinate day-to-day admin, customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organization.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service, resolve complex issues.
• Lead account management team and maintain data accuracy in agency systems.
• Monitor policy expirations, renewals, and client submissions.
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals to clients.
• Collect outstanding balances and monitor delinquent accounts.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data completeness.
• Communicate workload status clearly with the team.
• Deliver proactive service and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on company policies and foster IOA values.
