Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensure retention, and support new business. You will coordinate daily admin and customer service activities, resolve complex issues, and maintain accurate policy records.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 1 day in the NY office or fully remote for eligible applicants in Eastern or Central Time Zones, along with competitive salaries and benefits including health

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience in insurance or 5+ years in insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor receivables and address delinquent accounts.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion and proactive communication.
• Uphold IOA values and drive continuous improvement.
