Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business with emphasis on retention and service excellence.

The role supports day-to-day administration, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis while coordinating renewals and client submissions. A P&C license is required, CIC preferred, with a hybrid/remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Renewals: manage expirations, conduct client research, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and take action on outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy.
