Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book, retain clients, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years account management or 5+ years in the insurance industry, active P&C licensing (CIC preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Hybrid/remote options available.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Maintain policy management, renewals, and billing as part of service excellence.
• Drive renewal submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
