Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and growth. The role supports day-to-day administration, client service, and renewals while collaborating with a team in a hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license (CIC or equivalent preferred), have 3–5 years of account management experience, and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills to deliver excellent service

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of account management experience in insurance or related field.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license is required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-service skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to ensure retention and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities; resolve complex issues.
• Renewals, policy administration, billing, claims handling, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with data accuracy.
