Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business with emphasis on retention and service. You will coordinate daily admin tasks, resolve complex issues, and support new business while ensuring accuracy in policy administration and billing.

The role requires solid knowledge of insurance brokerage, active P&C licensing, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure data accuracy in records.
• Renewals: research, submissions, and proposal presentations.
• Monitor AR and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
