Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) in California is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines. The role supports the account team, producers, and assigned client groups, ensuring accurate policy administration and service excellence.

The ideal candidate will have an active P&C license, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work Pacific Time hours. Remote/hybrid options may apply within policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and prepare submissions.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages; monitor delinquent accounts for collections.
