Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking an Account Manager, Sales to expand our retail partner network in North and South Carolina, with remote work options. You will drive sales of the full portfolio, support growers and retailers, and build strong, lasting relationships.

The role requires 5+ years in agricultural sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage territory forecasts and budgets. Travel across the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience in agriculture.
• Proven success in business-to-business sales.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage territory plans, forecasts, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory growth by developing relationships with new retail partners and expanding existing accounts to achieve sales and profit objectives.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, product presentations, negotiations, closing sales, and account management.
• Establish yourself as a trusted consultant with expert product knowledge and solutions addressing customer challenges.
• Develop and execute annual territory business plans, including forecasts, budgets, and growth strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, R&D, and other teams to share market intelligence and support customer success.
• Monitor EPA and state regulatory requirements relevant to the territory.
