Mitratech, Inc. is seeking a remote Account Executive to drive new business in the background screening space in the United States.

The role emphasizes building a pipeline from scratch, prospecting, and closing net-new accounts with a commission-driven structure. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of B2B sales experience, a track record of starting new pipelines, and comfort traveling regionally or nationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience; background screening HR/compliance solutions preferred.
• Proven track record building new business from scratch.
• Self-motivated with autonomy to manage own schedule and territory.
• Willingness to travel regionally/nationally (up to 75%).

Responsibilities

• Build a pipeline from scratch via outbound prospecting, cold calls, and referrals.
• Close new accounts and achieve bookings targets.
• Cross-sell across Mitratech's product suite where applicable.
• Maintain accurate CRM data on pipeline, opportunities, and territory activity.
• Conduct in-person and virtual meetings; travel regionally/nationally as needed.
• Respond to pre-sale questions to move deals forward.
• Stay informed on background screening trends and competitive market conditions.
