Job summary

AFCO Direct in the United States is seeking an Account Executive to build solid, long-lasting client relationships by delivering competitive loan products and timely, executable commitments.

The AE evaluates loan opportunities, underwrites risk within authority, and issues binding agreements to Agent/Broker clients, with credit decisions up to $100k exposure and $1 Million per transaction as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong math aptitude.
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

• Perform quoting, underwriting, price negotiation for assigned territory and ensure competitive pricing and compliant credit.
• Build and develop agent client relationships through timely quotes, contracts and information.
• Make outbound calls to solicit business opportunities and track CRM data.
• Coordinate with Loan Processing to ensure document completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Review submissions for approval conditions and drive business volume with external Sales counterparts.
