Job summary

Sentry Insurance is seeking an Account Executive to drive premium growth within a New York territory. This role requires residence within the territory and the ability to work in a remote environment with travel in your defined area.

You will sell directly to niche market accounts, retain profitable business, and collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, and Customer Service to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales.
• Ability to obtain P&C and Life licenses.
• Self-discipline and ability to thrive remotely.
• Strong organization, communication, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Sell directly to niche market accounts to increase premium volume.
• Retain profitable business by providing quality service to policyholders.
• Build and maintain quality relationships with businesses.
• Work with Underwriting, Claims, Loss Control, Audit, Customer Service, and others.
• Call on assigned geographic territory to pursue opportunities.
• Leverage existing customers for new growth and sales opportunities.
