Job summary

The Cigna Group in the United States is seeking an Account Director for Medical Pharma Strategy and Contracting. You will support negotiations by reviewing contracts, redlining, and finalizing matrices, while understanding the financial impact for assigned accounts.

You will collaborate with teams to shape strategic business reviews, gather data, and present content. This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage timelines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 8+ years' relevant experience.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to position our value prop.
• Ability to manage timelines and document progress on projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Negotiators, Sr. Account Directors and Account Management to determine strategic business review vision, objectives, strategy, and presentation content.
• Consult with Negotiators and Team Leadership to determine data needs and submit data requests; build and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Provide consultative feedback to negotiators and input on client strategy based on business review knowledge.
• Develop understanding of assigned client needs and how service offerings meet those needs.
• Lead special projects and participate in other strategic initiatives.
