Job summary

The Cigna Group, via Evernorth Health Services, seeks an experienced manager to oversee pharmaceutical manufacturer relationships and lead contract review and execution in alignment with business objectives.

The hybrid role requires coordinating with negotiators and cross-functional teams to ensure timely contract implementation, invoicing, and rebate processing, while navigating complex internal and external partnerships with compliance and strategic focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in negotiating contracts.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage timelines and work flexible hours during peak volume.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with negotiators and leadership to shape strategic review vision, objectives, strategy, and presentation content.
• Execute manufacturer, product class, and drug strategies.
• Guide contracts through the review process to execution within required timelines.
• Collaborate with Ascent Health Services and matrix partners with firewall awareness.
• Manage pharmaceutical relationships across multiple departments within ESI's Supply Chain.
• Ensure accuracy of all contractual requirements and timely invoicing and rebate payments.
• Consult with negotiators to determine data needs and submit data requests.
• Provide consultative feedback to negotiators on client strategy.
• Understand assigned manufacturer needs and the impact of contract decisions on downstream teams.
