Qualifications

• Experience in Accident Benefits, Bodily Injury, Property Claims, Underwriting, Sales, or another relevant insurance environment.
• CIP designation pursued or willingness to pursue.
• Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills to assess claim strengths and weaknesses.

Responsibilities

• Interpret policy wording, determine coverage, and establish reserves for Accident Benefits claims.
• Investigate, negotiate, and settle moderate to highly complex claims.
• Manage claims per policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain thorough claim files with documented decisions and settlements.
• Resolve claims within personal authority and follow guidelines for higher matters.
