Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum one year of record keeping or related experience.
• Experience in higher education preferred.
• Experience working in a technology-driven environment preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and related office software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess student records to determine transfer credit eligibility.
• Evaluate transferability of coursework from domestic and international institutions, including military and non-traditional credits.
• Run SOAR audits and update Academic Advisement Reports to ensure accuracy of transfer credits.
• Enter and update course equivalencies in the Transfer Equivalency System (TES).
• Review transcripts and ensure consistency with records and catalog requirements.
• Interpret degree requirements and policies for students, advisors, and staff.
• Resolve student concerns and provide solutions for complex transfer credit cases.
• Maintain daily contact with students, advisors, faculty, and campus staff regarding evaluations.
