Job summary

CBIZ seeks an ACA Specialist to support day-to-day Affordable Care Act reporting for clients. Based in Kansas City with the option to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., you'll prepare and review data, maintain reporting workflows, and provide responsive client service.

You will handle client data formatting, ACA CheckPoint submissions, and reconciliation of Excel files; coordinate webinars and training while ensuring data privacy and compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of employee benefit plans, health care, or benefits administration.
• At least three years' experience in a help desk environment for benefits-related platforms (BenAdmin, payroll, HRIS, ACA reporting).
• Experience with reporting, data analysis, or HR information systems.
• Experience with Affordable Care Act reporting or compliance.
• Demonstrated experience supporting, reviewing, or maintaining business data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and format client data for import into approved technology solutions; consolidate data from multiple sources; use Excel lookups to create structured files.
• Create employer census and offer-of-coverage files for CBIZ ACA CheckPoint submissions.
• Review client-provided Excel files for formatting or data-quality issues; correct as needed before import.
• Load client data into the reporting platform and maintain accurate processing records.
• Review Form 1095-C for accuracy and completeness generated by the reporting platform.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
• Host and lead daily client training webinars; coordinate recurring client webinars and demonstrations.

Education
